John Randall Ross

January 06, 1961 - March 11, 2016

John passed away on March 11, 2016 at Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, Washington due to complications of cancer. He was born January 6, 1961 to the late Clint Ross and Patricia A. Clark (Spooner). He is survived by his loving partner David Silva; brothers Jeff (Lisa) Ross and Greg Hill; sisters Janice Smith, Debbie (Casey) Burns, Susan (Damon) Shaw, and Janie Ross. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews as well as several great nieces and nephews. As John’s dad always told him, “A day without laughter is a day wasted.” John was a very funny guy, never missing an opportunity to make someone smile or laugh with his latest joke. John enjoyed camping, gardening, and decorating for the holidays. You never had to guess which house was his at Christmastime, it was lit up like the Griswolds! He was also a big animal lover with several pets of his own, including five cats and two dogs – with a heart big enough to want to save them all. He really enjoyed volunteering at Kevin’s Kritters and helped out whenever he could. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 South Pines Rd, Spokane Valley. A celebration of life will follow the service at David’s, 2408 N Addison, Spokane.
