Jeffrey (Jeff) Allen Thomas, age 68 of Metaline, WA passed away in Spokane,WA on April 25, 2026,

after unfortunate health complications.
Jeff Thomas was born in Ottumwa, Iowa on April 13th, 1958 to Barbara Matthias and John Scott. Jeff grew up in Anchorage, Alaska and attended West Anchorage High School.
He graduated from West Anchorage high school and attended both scc and grays harbor college for business. He was a supervisor for many years at Boise cascade. Everyone who worked with him thought of him as a great boss and a good friend.
Jeff had many hobbies that he loved including camping, fishing, golfing and bowling. He absolutely loved being in his garden. Most importantly, he was one of the best baseball players. He was so proud of his baseball days, he could have went pro! The Oakland A’s are his favorite team. Jeff was known to have one of the biggest hearts. He never hesitated to help anyone. He was also the person everyone looked to for advice. He was never judgmental, always honest, supportive, and gave the greatest insight. Another thing he was known for is his amazing singing voice and love for music. You could play a few lyrics to any song and he would know exactly what song it was and who sang it. He was also so proud of his family. He was the best dad, papa and husband.
He is survived by his wife Suzan Harding Thomas. His children Cassie R, Melissa, Jacob, Alia, and Cassi L. His siblings David, Bruce, Robert, Suzie, Patty, Judy, Dawn, and Debbie. His grandchildren Alyssia, Alexis, Calvin Jr., Melody, Shawna, Jasmyn, and Alyssa. Nephews David jr., Ryan and niece Rikki Fern and many others. He is proceeded in death by his mother Barbara Matthias and John Scott, adoptive parents Bruce and Carol Thomas and nephew Chris Keeling.
Jeff wanted his life to be celebrated after he was gone, so we will be having a Celebration of Life for him on June 20th, 2026 at Bear Lake in Chattaroy Washington at 12pm. There will be an event made on Facebook by Suzan Harding for more details.
