Jay S Richardson

April 26, 1943 - September 09, 2015

Jay Stanley Richardson, a lifetime resident of Spokane County, went to be with the Lord September 9, 2015. He was born April 26, 1943 to Alfred Layfette and ZinniaBelle (Nichols) Richardson. Jay was proceeded in death by his parents, grandparents, Howard and Laura Nichols, brother Craig Benninger and sister in law Denise Benninger. He served in the United States Navy in the l960's. He also held several jobs in the Spokane area. His favorite place to work was nursing homes. Jay is survived by his siblings, Allan Benninger and Jill (Richardson) Mejia, husband Hugo, his children, Scott Wright, wife Cheryl, Darryl Gerlach, Danielle Shawver and Rachelle Estabrook. Jay also leaves behind 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends. Memorial Services will be held Friday, September 18th at 2 PM at the Sunset Chapel at Fairmount Cemetery, 5200 W. Wellesley.
