KROPP, Jarod Angus - (Age 35) - Jarod Angus Kropp passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017 in Spokane, Washington, at the age of 35. He was born on July 5, 1982 in Spokane to parents Bob Kropp & Kaye Lawson. He is survived by his parents, step mother Tammy Kropp, sister Lindsey (Joe) Shaffer, step sister Savannah (Kelly) Lawson, step brothers Shawn, & Shelby Lawson, Grandparents, Jerry and Gloria Baker, and Milly Kropp, Uncle Kim (Cindy) Baker & Aunts Kari (Jeff) Gossett, Kerry (Ken) Cox, Sherry Kropp, Terry (Kip) Altman and numerous nieces & nephews. He is predeceased by Great Grandparents Joe & Alberta Kropp, Archie & Mae Baker, Wilma & Louie Rothrock, Grandfather George Kropp, step-father Rick Lawson and several Great Aunts and Uncles. Jarod dealt with juvenile diabetes since early childhood and so wanted to live for his children. This was not to be and his time on earth ended way too soon, but he always remarked how he loved and was proud of his five children, who are Elyssia Bell, Robert & Annabella Kropp, Nakoa Powers and Ransom Kropp. He loved deeply, had a great laugh and was passionate about many things. He truly cared about his family & friends and he had an everlasting bond with his parents. Jarod grew up mostly in Otis Orchards where he attended Otis Elementary and East Valley High schools. He loved spending time on his Grandpa George's "farm", riding around on tractors, trucks & other equipment and working in the shop. He just plain enjoyed eating and that included specialty food items such as pickled pig's feet. He enjoyed fishing, snowboarding, swimming and camping, but he had a passion for raising pit bulls and working on all types of Volkswagens. As a believer, we know Jarod is at peace and surrounded by love. A Memorial Service will be held at the Spokane Valley Nazarene Church, 15515 E 20th Ave, in Spokane Valley, WA on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 1:00 PM. A reception will follow with light refreshments and a time to share memories. Jarods remains have been interred at Pines Cemetery. In lieu of flowers you may send donations to The celebrate Recovery Program at Family of Faith Community Church, 1505 W Cleveland Spokane, WA 99205.
