Jack Kennedy

November 17, 1928 - November 14, 2014

KENNEDY, Jack B (age 85) Jack was born November 17, 1928, in Los Angeles, California, to Marcelyn (Longtin) and Byron C. Kennedy, and passed away at the family home on November 14, 2014. Jack moved to Spokane in 1954. On November 26, 1955, he and Darlene Lockwood were married in her hometown of Sandpoint, Idaho. They made their home in Spokane, where Jack was a Sheet Metal Worker. He retired from Banner Furnace in 1991, where he worked for thirty years. After retirement, Jack and Darlene travelled extensively in their motor home; he also took up wood carving. Jack is survived by his wife, Darlene; daughters, Susan English or Hesperia, California, Nancy (Ron) Foster of Nipomo, California; sons, Gregg Kennedy of Seattle, WA, Scott Kennedy of Spokane, WA. Jack was preceded in death by his son, Steven Kennedy in 2005. Jack is also survived by granddaughters, Joanna (Joey) Manos, Dawn (Scott) Charbonneau, Nichole Kennedy, Katie (Jason Paul) Dixon, Kristi Kennedy; four great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
