Henry (Skip) Arthur Deguire Jr. March 6, 1942 – December 24, 2021 Henry (Skip) Arthur Deguire Jr. of Spokane Valley, Washington passed away on December 24, 2021 at the age of 79. - Born in St. Petersburg, Florida on March 6, 1942, Skip grew up in Gulfport, Florida. He was a proud member of the U.S. Army, and later, served in the U. S. Army Reserves. After his regular military service, Skip was hired by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Department in Largo, Florida as a Deputy Sheriff and served in the Forensic Imaging Unit, and as a Crime Scene Investigator. God gave Skip his love for photography and it blossomed and expanded beyond his day job. He photographed weddings, baptisms, graduations, drama productions, and so much more. Skip was a snowbird and spent time in both Spokane, Washington and Florida. He loved to travel and hike, and document his adventures through photos. Blessed with a generous spirit, Skip was always helping family and friends. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Arthur Deguire, Sr. and Susan Louise (Giek) Deguire and stepson, Richard Tosto. Skip is survived by his beloved wife of 13 years, Noraine (Phillips) Deguire and stepson, Randy Tosto. Also his brother Robert (Judy) Deguire and niece, Sonya (Ed) Benhardt. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Spokane Dream Center 2128 N. Pines Rd. Spokane Valley, WA on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 1 pm. The service will also be live streamed at www.spokanedreamcenter.org (live streaming tab) for those unable to attend in person. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Spokane Dream Center in Skip’s honor.
