Helen J. Switzer (age 89). Passed away September 3, 2026, in Spokane Valley, Washington. Helen was born September 30, 1936, in Nenzel, Nebraska. She married Carl Switzer on August 16, 1957, in Yakima, Washington. She worked at Fred Meyer in Spokane for 30+ years.


Helen is survived by her daughters, Cheryl (Dave) Cambensy; Cathie (Mike) Hamlin; and Carrie (Scott) Campbell. Additionally, she is survived by four grandchildren, Keith Prickett; Sarah (Nick) Lundberg; Kevin (Jenna) Campbell; and Cassandra (Grant) Hamlin. Lastly she is survived by seven great grandchildren, Victoria and Kadence Prickett-Jurgens; Blake, Ashley, Jace and Kylie Maxwell; and Nash Campbell. We were blessed with her strength, courage, love and support.


At Helen’s request, no service will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Spokane.
