SWECKER, Gerald ""Jerry"" Our beloved Father, Brother, and Uncle was born November 22, 1953 and went to Heaven April 22, 2013. Jerry's fun and easy disposition and sense of humor will be greatly missed by all. Jerry enjoyed spending time with his son Jeremy, reading, listening to music, and Harley motorcycles. He touched many hearts. He could always come up with some odd fact that he read in a book and could be counted on to make you laugh. He spent most of his life working as a painter. Jerry raised his two sons and was a loving single father. He was surrounded by his family at the time of his passing. He is survived by his two sons, Jeff and Jeremy; sister, Linda; brother, David; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jerry and David were my best friends of Spokane Valley .I met Jerry first , when they built U City Mall Jerry was interested in my sister Diane but we became quickly good friends at many adventures most notable was the time we hitch psyched all the way to Santa Barbara California during my spring break Jerry David and I spent many hours hanging out at my house on 16th avenue across from University grade school my noticeable memory of David was when you lived out by the state line at 3:00 in the morning I was driving down Wellesley avenue I saw David carrying a couch down the road I stopped and asked if you needed it help I…
