Garey Ray Anderson

February 19, 1941 - September 24, 2021

Garey Ray Anderson (Age 80) of Spokane, WA passed away on September 24, 2021. He was at Good Samaritan Society under Hospice Care, in the Spokane Valley. He was born to Frederick and Lillian (Oquist) Anderson on February 19, 1941, in Spokane. Garey attended North Central High School and played trombone in the high school band. He attended college for 2 years for Social Work. Garey’s love of flowers led to a career in making beautiful floral arrangements. He worked for many years at Coldwell’s in Spokane. Garey was preceded in death by his parents, sister Dolores J. Carroll and brothers Ronald W. and Byron (Duane) Anderson. Survivors include his son Steve (Lynette) and daughter Kathy, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Garey was a good person and a great friend to many. We will miss you, Garey!!
