Fred was born in Pendleton, OR on September 5, 1933 to Delbert and Marian Wilson. He passed away on December 21, 2014, leaving behind loving family and many great friends. Fred graduated from Echo High School in Echo, OR in 1952 and went on to serve in the US Army from 1953-1955, during the Korean War. He later worked on the Alaska pipeline during the 70â??s and returned to work for Rays in St. John, WA. He also spent over 30 years with the Sears Service Department where he retired from in 1993. After retirement, he took on some part time work for Valley Hospital in the security department for a couple of years. He loved to fish and spend time with his family and friends. Fred is survived by his wife of 35 years, Mary; his brother Floyd (Doralee) Wilson of Pilot Rock, OR; sister Delores Casey of Mesa, AZ; sons Michael Wilson of Port Orchard, WA and Christopher (Sara) Wilson of Spokane Valley, WA; and his daughter Darlene (Jackey) Baker of Spokane, WA; grandchildren, Amanda Wilson of Port Orchard, WA, Alyssia, Lindsey, and Nathan Wilson of Spokane Valley, WA and Brandi Grider of Spokane, WA; great-grandchildren, Kyla Wilson of Port Orchard, WA as well as Tayten and Kamren Grider of Spokane, WA. Fred was preceded in death by his parents; brother Robert Wilson; son Patrick Wilson; and daughter-in-law Jacque Wilson. A celebration of Fredâ??s life will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015 at the Sunset Chapel, Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W. Wellesley Ave, at 1:30 PM.
