Born July 29, 1946, in San Francisco, CA. He left us to walk in Heaven on September 17, 2012 in Spokane, WA. As a small child his family moved to Kellogg, ID, where his love of sports grew. His passion blossomed into his desire to share and inspire others, not only for sports but his great love and devotion for our Lord and Savior. His life-long pursuit of knowledge lead him to achieve multiple degrees, Juris Doctorate at Gonzaga, doctoral course work in School leadership, Masters in School Administration, and a Bachelors in Education all at the University of Idaho. Fred served as Principal at Priest River Junior High and Kimberly Junior and Senior High Schools. As an Educator and Coach, Fred taught at Pomeroy Junior/Senior High Schools in WA, Bonners Ferry High School, Twin Falls High School, and Moscow Junior/Senior High Schools in Idaho, Wahtonka High School, The Dalles, OR. The number of students he positively impacted with his passion for knowledge and sports is immense. Fred was a student of the Bible. His vast knowledge of scriptures and their application to our lives compelled Fred to share the Lordâ??s love with others. Bringing together his intimate knowledge of the Constitution and the spiritual design with which it was created, Fred brought to life Founding Visions Academy, a non-profit educational organization dedicated to teaching a Christian worldview and the values of conservative, constitutional citizenship. Fred is survived by, his wife Stacy; stepson Zachary; daughter Jacqualine (James) Phillips; and grandson Samuel Phillips. A memorial service will be held October 6, 2012, 11 AM, Arise Church, 3525 E. 57th Ave., Spokane.
