September 05, 1928 - November 19, 2013
Frank was born September 5, 1928 in Hardin, Montana, and grew up in Lewistown, Montana. He passed away at home November 19, 2013 of ALS. Frank served in the United States Army Air Force during World War II, attended the first Jet Specialist School and became a crew chief on one of the first jets. He met Arlene in Billings, Montana and they were married a year later in Mullan, Idaho. They spent the first years of their marriage traveling around the United States while Frank worked as a boilermaker. Life brought them to Spokane, Washington in 1958 where he had a successful career as a salesman. He is survived by his wife, Arlene of 64 years; daughter, Cheryl (Steven) Price; three grandchildren, Christine (Christopher) Jones, Jeffrey (Brooke) Price, and Andrew (Brenda) Price; eight great grandchildren; brother, Jim Walker; and sister, Phyllis Crawford in Billings, Montana. Anyone who knew Frank enjoyed his great sense of humor and his favorite expression was â??I am so glad you got to see me.â? His creative abilities were many, including his artwork and woodworking. He loved his family, friends, home and yard, and he was meticulous about everything he did. His silliness and fun loving ways will be missed by all of us. Contributions may be made to the ALS Association, Horizon Hospice or Paralyzed Veterans of America.
