Betty and family~
I’m so sorry to hear about Sarge’s passing. We saw each other often during our contracting days…he always had a smile on his face and we always had great conversations. Sarge and I had a lot in common, both being Vietnam vets and masonry contractors. I kept track of Sarge through the years, as we both share a good friend in Tom Fisher (Flash to all of us). We are all going to miss him driving that old Ford 2-ton. We are in Arizona, and won’t be able to attend Sarge’s memorial service, but our thoughts will certainly be with you and your family.

Dear Betty and Family,
My sincerest condolences on the loss of your beloved husband and dad. Sarge was a soft spoken, honest, patient, hard working, and witty human being. He worked with my dad at Kaiser. Sarge bricked our family home where some of my siblings and I grew up, and later bricked the home where my husband and I raised our sons. His talent and handiwork gave us the four walls to make many deeply cherished, and greatly missed, memories. Sarge was the epitome of a kind and humble human being.
