Eugene Plumb was released from his battle against cancer on June 4, 2016 at the age of 60 at his home in Spokane Valley. Largely known as Geno, he lived most of his life in Spokane, WA, where he graduated from Central Valley High School in 1975. He spent most of his life working as a carpenter in the Carpenter’s Union Local 59, working for companies such as Goebel and Garco Construction. Because of Geno's hard work and dedication, he held the body building titles of Mr. Rocky Mountain and Mr. Spokane in 1983 and again Mr. Spokane in 1985. He was married to Julie Bronson from 1998 to 2007 and helped raise her two children, Brittney and Colby. Geno enjoyed mountain biking, 4-wheeling, jet skiing and camping. He loved NASCAR and the Dallas Cowboys. Geno will be missed by his foster mother, Nancy Johnson and her husband Chuck; his brothers, Ted (Kirsten) Boyer, Darryl (Toni) Boyer; his sister, Tammy (Ron) Inge; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his foster father, Donald Boyer. A Celebration of Life for Geno will be held on June 17, 2016 at 4pm Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W. Wellesley Ave. Spokane WA.
