Earl William Cox

December 06, 1936 - October 17, 2016

Earl was born to Clyde and Reva Cox on December 6, 1936 in Salem, Virginia. Earl passed on October 17, 2016 at the Veteran's Home in Spokane, WA. Earl enlisted in the Air Force at the age of 18 and was stationed at Fairchild AFB. Spokane became his new home. Earl is survived by daughters Susan Davenport (Ross) and Julia Robison (Todd); grandchildren, Christina Howard (Josh) and Brandon Robison and great-grandson Jackson Howard; sisters Louise, Gladys, Linda and brother Melvin all of Virginia and many nieces and nephews. Earl was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Betty and Shirley. Earl was employed by the City of Spokane for many years. He retired at a young age and traveled to many places around the world. He enjoyed Reno and Las Vegas along with Mexico, Japan, Vietnam and many countries in Europe. His favorite destination was Thailand as he visited there 16 times! He was very generous and enjoyed giving gifts to everyone. He enjoyed many hobbies including, photography, painting, leather work, and jewelry making. Earl's final resting place will be the Washington Veteran's Cemetery at Medical Lake, 21702 W. Espanola Rd. A service will be held at the cemetery on November 1, 2016 at 1:30pm. - Rest in Peace Earl! We will miss you Daddy!
