June 18, 1939 – June 20, 2026

Donna Hauf, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026, in Spokane at the age of 87.

Growing up in Spokane, Donna attended Rogers High School, where she was involved in numerous clubs. Her lifelong love of singing followed her into adulthood, where she performed with the Sweet Adelines. For many years, Donna was also a familiar and friendly face to many in the community through her work at Spokane's First National Bank.

Donna truly never met a stranger. She made fast friends wherever she went—whether she was running a quick errand at the local store or hunting for treasures at a weekend garage sale.

Donna’s heart belonged entirely to her family. She was also a devoted dog mom to her precious companion, Baylee-Su. An avid gardener, Donna loved tending to her flowers and spending time outdoors. She was equally passionate about keeping her mind sharp, frequently conquering online word games. Above all, Donna was a "tough cookie" - a resilient, spirited fighter who faced health challenges with admirable strength right until the very end.

Donna was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Marie Garrison. She leaves behind a legacy of love. Donna is survived by her husband of 68 wonderful years, Gene; her children, Raelyn Davis (Mike), Kaley Harner (Rob), and Richard Hauf (Kerry); her 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; and her brothers, Gary (Carol) Garrison and Duane (Lois) Garrison.

At Donna’s explicit request, there will be no formal services held. Her warmth, laughter, and unbreakable spirit will be deeply missed but forever cherished by all who knew her.
