Donald Wilder Plett

May 14, 1951 - April 30, 2014

Donald was born in Mondovi, WI in 1951. He is preceded in death by his father Eugene Donald Plett, his partner Alan Crutcher & his nephew Ryan Boucher. If you were ever lucky enough to have met Don you would have never forgotten what a wonderful, loving, passionate, kind and very dramatic person he was. He graduated in 1969 from Shadle Park High school and earned a BFA from Eastern Washington University in Interior Graphic Design, a degree he created himself. For 40 years he lived in many places; among them Seattle, New York, Bermuda and Washington DC, where he was the owner and operator/instructor of the Wilder & Wilder Salon. Recently he moved back to Spokane to be with his family. Mother - Ramona M Plett, (who he called his only girl friend) Brothers - Eugene J Plett (Linda), Gary A Plett (Tatiana), Sisters â?? Connie M Boucher (Bud), Janet L Rice (Ken), Mona Lisa Plett, Theresa A McBournie (Richard) and many Nieces and Nephews. Donald dubbed himself the â??Hairdresser to the Stars"" but to him everybody was a â??Star' and thatâ??s exactly how he made you feel! Memorial service will be Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. St. Josephâ??s Parish, 3720 E Colbert Rd. Colbert, WA 99005 In lieu of flowers please make donations to Meals on Wheels, SAN or a charity of your choice.
