Dona Lee Gilbert

October 08, 1932 - January 08, 2022

Dona Gilbert passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022 after a lengthy battle with advanced Dementia. She was 89. Dona was born October 8,1932 to Don and Mary Cork in Spokane. She graduated from North Central High School. She is survived by her daughter Linda (Ed) Stewart of Newport and son Michael (Peggy) Gilbert of Mead, grandchildren Brian (Tiffany) Stewart and Eileen Gilbert. Great grandmother to Carissa and Kylie Cady and Lucas Gilbert. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Robert (Bob), son Patrick and granddaughter Jamie Cady. She was a loving mom and grandma. We will miss her laugh and endless jokes. A private family service will be held at Fairmount Cemetery. The family would like to thank Brookdale Nine Mile for their care, friendship and support of Dona and her family.
