June 19, 1931 - January 03, 2021
Hanson, Dolores Marie - We lost a beautiful soul on January 3, 2021 and Heaven gained an angel who served the Lord her entire life. - Born June 19, 1931 in Spokane, Dolores was a lifelong resident. She graduated from West Valley and married her high school sweetheart, Robert E. Hanson. After retiring they spent time enjoying their grandchildren, golfing, and traveling. - She loved her family, her friends, and her church. She had a large group of lifelong friends who walked, talked, and celebrated together for over 50 years. She was a devoted member of Advent Lutheran Church where she joined the quilting ladies there to make hundreds of quilts for those in need. - She is survived by her sons, Mike (Meg), John (Kim), and daughter Diana. She has five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Robert, Jacque, and Donald. Special recognition for her best friend Dorothy. - She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, sister Connie, and granddaughter Heidi. - A graveside service for family will be January 23, 2021. We would love to have a service in the future. The song she wanted for her funeral is “All is Well with my Soul” so sing it or hum it when you think of her. - Her favorite charities were Union Gospel Mission, Meals on Wheels, and Advent Lutheran Church.
