Diane Rae Bennett

July 15, 1944 - August 22, 2017

Diane Rae Bennett (Age 73) passed away August 22, 2017, in Spokane. She was born July 15, 1944, in Spokane to Madeline and Raymond Bennett. She graduated from Shadle Park High School, and after attending EWSC she became an airline stewardess for NW Airlines. Diane later decided to follow her mothers footsteps into a career of nursing and received her degree from SCC after which she moved to San Diego, CA, retiring 35 years later from the VA Hospital in LaJolla, CA. Diane is survived by her brothers: David Bennett of Spokane, and Gerald (Linda) Bennett of Bellevue, WA, sisters; Beverly Petrovich and Jo Anne Granger of Spokane, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother-in-law Earl Granger, and her beloved cat Samantha. The family will have a private family service at a later date.
