May 10, 1923 - September 14, 2016

Diana was born to Elmer and Beatrice Pammler on May 10, 1923 in Chicago, IL and passed away on September 14, 2016 in Spokane, WA. Diana was an artist, a mom, a cadet nurse, an occupational therapist (before it was even a specialty) and lastly, a successful business woman. She had a calling to improve the lives of those people in nursing homes and convalescent centers. She and her husband, Vic, were successful in all their endeavors; and retired to the Palm Springs area. She recently returned to Spokane to be closer to family. Diana had many interests; from crochet, to needle point, knitting, painting, and recently made several wooden pens on the lathe at her wood hobby shop. As always, she was a leader taking on new challenges. She is survived by her three sons; Dennis, Craig, and Tom; her daughter, Vicki Colton; as well as seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Diana was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Victor R. Johnson, Jr. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the Sunset Chapel, Fairmount Memorial Park. Flowers are always welcome, but donations may also be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 911 W 5th Ave, Spokane, WA 99204.
