Deloris “Dee” Jean Kuchler Deloris “Dee” Jean Kuchler passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026, in Usk, Washington, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She faced her journey with remarkable strength, grace, and an enduring light that never dimmed. Dee was born on April 14, 1960, in Tompkinsville, Kentucky, to Wayne and Dorothy Turner. As the eldest of three children, she lovingly embraced her role as big sister to her brothers, Tony and Donald, forming bonds that remained close throughout her life. In 1982, Dee moved to California, where she began building the life she so deeply cherished. She later became a mother to her first “piece of heaven,” her daughter Ashley Mae, born in 1989. In 1992, Dee met the love of her life, Larry, and her heart grew even fuller when she welcomed two more “pieces of heaven,” her daughters Deirdre and Danielle. Her family was her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment. Dee spent much of her professional career as an Executive Assistant in both the hospital and credit union industries. She took great pride in her work and genuinely enjoyed the people she supported, forming meaningful relationships everywhere she went. Her professionalism, kindness, and dedication left a lasting impression on colleagues and friends alike. Known for her warmth and joyful spirit, Dee had friends across the country and loved traveling, camping, sharing great food, and embracing every opportunity to laugh and enjoy life. She had a gift for making people feel seen and valued. Dee was an extraordinary woman—an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother—who cared deeply for her family and friends. Her positive demeanor and radiant presence earned her the description of a “bright light” by all who knew her, including many who were fortunate enough to meet her only briefly. Dee is survived by her beloved husband, Larry Kuchler; her daughters, Deirdre (Steven) Cerda, Danielle (Zach) Beard, and Ashley (Steven) Benson; her cherished grandchildren, Rylie Beard, Savannah Troutwine-Grable, Caden Beard, Carter Beard, Deacon Benson, Brantley Benson, and Chase Troutwine-Grable; her mother, Dorothy Walker; and her brothers, Tony Turner and Donald (Penny) Turner. Dee’s legacy is one of love, laughter, kindness, and light. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
