STEINLE, Delmar A. - Aug. 17, 1936 Nov. 29, 2016 - Del was born to Fred and Mildred Steinle on August 17, 1936 in Casper, WY. He grew up in Mills, WY and attended high school in Casper. After high school, he was a cattle rancher on the family ranch. Del married his wife, Susan, in Rapid City, SD. He graduated from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in 1967 in electrical engineering. His electrical design career included working for Westinghouse in Spokane and Portland, OR, in addition to working for Bovay Engineers and Kaiser Engineers Hanford. Del was very active all his life and was happiest working on a project, especially in the outdoors. He enjoyed wildlife photography and spending time at Lake Coeur d'Alene with family. He was a wonderful husband, devoted father, and caring grandfather, as well as being kind to everyone he met. His family will remember him with love and deeply miss him. He is survived by his loving wife Susan; daughters Renee (Mike) McFarland of Mountlake Terrace, WA and Christine (Lee) Retterer of Kennewick, WA; granddaughters Miriel and Elise McFarland and Millie and Libby Retterer. He is also survived by his brothers Robert (Liz) Steinle of Casper, WY, Richard (Joanne) Steinle of Knoxville, TN, and John (Wanda) Steinle of Thermopolis, WY, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
