David Lee Almond, age 66, passed peacefully on Sunday, July 31st, 2025, with his wife by his side. David was born in Spokane, WA where he resided in Deer Park. Having served in the U.S. Coast Guard, he went on to learn to fly airplanes and finished his career being a train engineer. David also had many hobbies in his life. His favorite baseball team was the Seattle Mariners, and his basketball team was the Gonzaga Bulldogs. He loved woodworking, photography, boating and vacationing with his family. He is survived by his loving wife Karen, stepdaughter Shawndra (Andrew) Ng, children Isreal, Olivia and Makaela, his mother Irma Almond, brothers Mel (Karen) Neil, Larry (Cheryl) Neil, Tom (Olga) Almond, and many beloved friends. The family will have a Celebration of Life service with a small group of family and friends at 1898 Public House on September 7th, 2025. David will forever be remembered with much love.




David, you always knew how to make people laugh.
