Lamont, Darcy W. (Age 59) Darcy passed away on Monday, May 31st, 2021 surrounded by his wife, daughter and granddaughter. Darcy was born to Kathy Popoff and Wilfred Lamont on July 5th, 1961 in Kimberly, Alberta, Canada. He moved to Spokane at age 5 where he resided his entire life. Darcy graduated from Central Valley High School. He was a hardworking family man who was employed with Wagstaff Inc. for over the last 15 years. Previously, he worked for B&J Industrial Supply for close to 20 years. Darcy was known as a wonderful husband, great dad, and even better papa. He never missed any of Sam or Samaya's events or recitals through the years. He had a love for his well-manicured yard, as he spent many hours working outside and by the pool. Darcy will always be remembered for wicked sarcasm, but known as a big teddy bear. Darcy is survived by his wife of 36 years; Janis M. Lamont, his daughter; Samantha M. Lamont, granddaughter; Samaya R. Lamont and stepdaughter Lisa M. Nichols, grandson Nickolas Monteblanco, and Sister-In-Law Joan Essl. Darcy's Celebration of Life will be held; Saturday, June 26th at Wagstaff Inc. (3910 N Flora Rd, Spokane Valley, WA 99216), from 12:00pm to 2:00. Food will be served. The family wishes to thank his entire Wagstaff family for their love and support during this difficult time.
