With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Collina Marie Lowe-Colbert, a beloved mother, grandmother, cousin, and friend, who peacefully departed this world on September 1, 2026, in her cherished home. Born on July 27, 1962, in the vibrant town of Yakima, Washington, Collina graced this world with her light for 64 beautiful years. Collina was a remarkable woman whose life was a testament to resilience and warmth. She faced her illness with unparalleled courage, never allowing it to dim her ever-present smile or her quick wit. She was a beacon of joy, always armed with a joke or a captivating story that could brighten even the darkest days. Her professional life was dedicated to the art and precision of meat cutting at Safeway in Washington State, where she worked with dedication and pride. Collina was not just an employee; she was a leader and a role model, known for her culinary craftsmanship and her ability to inspire those around her. Even in retirement, her legacy as a skilled and compassionate leader remained an integral part of her identity. Collina treasured her family above all else. She was predeceased by her cherished grandmother Eathel Jesse Smathers, grandfather George Washington Kjolseth, father Jerry William Lowe, mother Georgan Kjolseth, and her beloved daughter Jamie Jean Lee. Her memory will be lovingly carried forward by her son, Lawrence Adrian Colbert Jr., his wife Janeth Crystal Colbert, and her three adored grandchildren. Her cousins Jordan Alexander Kjolseth and Catherine Marie Brannon, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, including her dear friend Ron Schimke, will continue to hold her close in their hearts. Throughout her life, Collina found joy in simple pleasures. She loved traveling to visit friends and family, discovering new restaurants, and enjoying leisurely drives by the lakes. Her passion for sharing time and laughter with loved ones was a testament to her generous spirit and the deep love she held for those around her.
