January 14, 1949 - January 17, 2018
Christina Kay Fisher (DeJanovich)(Age 69) passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on January 17, 2018. After battling illness for the past few years, she passed into Heaven to be with her friends and family before her. Chris was born to Michael and Cleo DeJanovich on January 14, 1949 in Wallace, ID. She grew up in Kellogg, ID, the little sister to siblings Michael, Sandra, and Dale. She attended high school in Kellogg and Coeur dAlene. Chris loved playing bingo, dancing, bowling, fishing, and shopping. She also loved watching Gonzaga basketball and the Seattle Seahawks, especially her sweetie pie, Russell Wilson. However, her biggest joy came from her grandchildren. She could be found cheering for them during just about every band and choir concert, as well as soccer games, parades, football games, and wrestling matches. Chris is preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers Michael and Dale DeJanovich. She is survived by her husband, Larry; her sister, Sandra Ball; her children, Michelle Cravens, Ian (Paula) Newell, and Mark Smith; and her grandchildren Danielle and Joey Cravens; Anthony (Felicia) and Aric Smith, and Brynn Coballes-Smith. Our family lost its matriarch and one of the most influential people in our lives. We were extremely lucky to be loved, raised, and cared for by such a beautiful woman. She will live on in the hearts of her grandchildren as the greatest grandma they could've ever asked for. Rest in peace, Mom/Grandma, we love you. Special thanks to Horizon Hospice and her doctor of 34 years, Dr. Timothy Ritchey, for their exceptional and compassionate care. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 Saturday, January 27th at Fairmount Memorial Parks Sunset Chapel, 5200 W. Wellesley Ave., Spokane. A small reception will be held at the chapel, with a buffet luncheon to follow at the Outlaw Barbecue, 4427 W. Wellesley Ave.
