Christie Gail Cummins

June 17, 1948 - November 17, 2015

Was received into eternity on November 17, 2015. She was undoubtedly met by her husband Steven B. who passed in February of 2007 and her youngest son Jeffrey Jay who passed late in 2014. She is survived by her eldest son, Kyle Cummins, who has been a faithful son and has walked with his mom through these last years of her life. Christie was raised in Chattaroy, Washington by her father Gail Marlow, still living, and her mother Edna, who passed before her also. She is survived by three siblings; Larry Marlow, Terry Marlow and Candice Minden residing in Nevada, Florida and Idaho respectively with their families. Christie graduated from the University of Oregon (Go Ducks) as a very accomplished dancer, which gave her an edge as she became an excellent golfer. Starting in her mid-20’s she developed into a successful business woman and motivational speaker, impacting lives across the United States. She was mentor to thousands, friend to all that took the time to get to know her and a wonderful mother. In lieu of flowers, which Chris really didn't have an appreciation for, please make donations to: Cancer Center NW Foundation. There are two ways to donate, either go to CCNWF.Net or send into CCNW Foundation, 1204 N Vercler, Ste 101, Spokane Valley, WA 99216. A memorial service will be held at Sunset Chapel, Fairmount Memorial Park: 5200 W Wellesley Ave, Spokane, WA 99205 on Thursday, December 10th, 2015 at 10:00am. This will be followed by a reception in the Monroe Ballroom at the Lincoln Center, 1316 N Lincoln, Spokane, WA 99204. She will be missed, never forgotten and loved forever!!
