Cheri Lynn Frederick

August 6, 1953 - March 21, 2024

Cheri Lynn Frederick, 70, of Moses Lake, Washington, died March 21,2024 at Sacred Heart hospital in Spokane, Washington, after a sixteen-month battle with stage four pancreatic cancer. She was surrounded by her family. Cheri was born August 6, 1953, to Louis and Norma Hall in Seattle, Washington. She was the second of three children.

Cheri spent most of her adult years in Soap Lake and Ephrata, Washington. Her favorite pastime was camping and fishing, which she happily did by herself and in the company of family and friends. Cheri was very artistic and enjoyed painting, sewing, and her most recent hobby of diamond art painting. She also loved cooking for her family and could always be counted on to make up special batches of goodies for everyone during the holiday season.  We will all miss that.

Cheri was preceded in death by her mother, Norma and father, Louis Hall.

She is survived by brother Steve (Janet) Hall; sister, Linda Hall; daughter, Jennifer (Joe) Kaylor; daughter, Stacy Mercer; daughter, Michelle O’Neal; son, Brandon (Emily) O’Neal; grandchildren, Joseph Kaylor, Christopher Roberts, Trayden Pelham, David “Dash” Kaylor, Tristan Dana, Chloe Mercer-Firestone, Gemma O’Neal, Makayla Mercer-Firestone, Rachael Mercer-Firestone; ex-husband & friend John Frederick; step-son, Jay (Tammy) Frederick; step-son Danny Frederick; step-grandchildren, Aubery Frederick, Carolyn Frederick, Jace Frederick; fur children, Tika & Teddy; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

A special thank you to our dear friends Zack & Tiana for housing our family during mom’s hospital stay in Spokane; as well as the medical staff at Samaritan Hospital, Moses Lake, Washington; and especially the medical staff at Sacred Heart Hospital, Spokane, Washington for their excellent care for mom during the last days of her life.
