February 05, 1928 - December 13, 2018
Beverly passed away in Spokane, WA on December 13, 2018, at the age of 90. Beverly was born in Moscow, ID, in 1928, the youngest of four children born to Everett and Cordie Branson. The family moved to Spokane when Beverly was five years old. Beverly graduated from Rogers High School and was married to Harold Gorder. Beverly had many life-long friends that kept in touch with each other through the years. She worked as a telephone operator for Pacific NW Bell, the Spokane Credit Bureau and the Old National Bank Bankcard Center when bankcards were first introduced. She retired in 1988 and went on to enjoy traveling and often spent part of the winter in Palm Springs. Bev was an avid reader and loved spending summers with family at Diamond Lake. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and a sister. She is survived by her son, Donald (wife, Vicki) of Spokane and her daughter, Kathie (husband, David) Abrahamson of Sherrills Ford, NC; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Horizon Hospice for their wonderful care and the amazing staff at Royal Park Retirement for their love and support. In honoring her wishes, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to your favorite charity.
