Ardyce K. Kahler (Kissler) May 26, 1932 to March 18, 2021 Ardyce Katherine (Kissler) Kahler of Spokane, WA passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family at the age of 88. She was born in Batum near Odessa, WA to parents John and Frieda Kissler. She graduated from Odessa HS in 1950. In HS she attended the Girl Scout Jamboree in Portland, OR and sponsored American Legion Auxiliary Girls State at Pullman, WA. After high school she attended Kinmen Business College and went on to work for WWP Company. She married in 1961 to Ronald H. Kahler and had 5 children. During her marriage and raising her 5 children she experienced many adventures and memories living in WA, MT, ND, MO, CA and Tehran, Iran. Ardyce was a hard worker and held many jobs after her divorce in 1976 to support her 5 children. She retired from AARP Senior Employment. Ardyce had quite the sense of humor, always making people laugh. She was known for her story telling and loved the outdoors and cherished spending time with family and friends. Ardyce is survived by her 5 children and their spouses all of Spokane, WA. Scott (Vicki Dutton) Kahler, Rhonda (Mike) Mager, Diane (Mike) Bippes, Nancy, Tom (LaDona) Kahler. 5 Grandchildren (Brianna, Alicia, Nick, Andrea, Conrad and Carly) and 4 Great-grandchildren (Kameron, Makenzie, Kai’a and Harlow) and her very special friend Lisa Koerner whom she adored and was blessed to have you in her life. A special thank you to Hospice of Spokane (Ruthann) and Beneficial In Home Care (Tammi) for the amazing care they provided. Services will be held on Monday, April 5, 2021 at 1 PM at Fairmont Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Hospice House of Spokane.
