Anthony S. Fields (Tony) was born on November 11, 1930, in Spokane, Washington, to Spiro and Antonia Milonas. At about age 2, he was fostered by Eda and Everett Fields and remained with them until adulthood. He went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 25, 2026.

After graduating from Riverside High School, Tony served four years in the US Navy.  He married Joan Sunderman in September 1957. He is survived by his wife Joan Fields and their son Jim (D’Laine) Fields, 4 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Tony was a shear room operator at Kaiser Aluminum Trentwood where he retired after more than 20 years. He attended Greenacres Baptist Church for many years, and his faith in Jesus Christ was central to his life. Tony was called the “Court Watcher” as he spent over 20 years observing court cases at the Spokane County Courthouse.  He also loved caring for his yard, playing pinochle and spending time with his family.

Tony was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Greenacres Baptist Church, 18620 E Sprague Ave, Spokane Valley at 3 PM.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to hospice at The Gentiva Foundation, www.gentivahs.com.
