Annie Edith Gilmartin January 30th, 1964 – March 28th, 2026
Annie Edith Gilmartin, 62, of Spokane, Washington died in her home on March 28th, 2026.
Annie was born in Frankfurt, Germany on a US Airbase to Gregory Richard Coelho and Ericka Edith Coelho. A few months after her birth, they headed to the United States with her older brother, Richard Coelho, where they lived for a few years in California and welcomed her younger brother, Robert “Bobby” Coelho. After a while, she moved to Washington state and graduated from Central Valley high school. She then worked at Denny’s in Spokane Valley where she met her husband, Patrick Gilmartin. Soon she went on to Spokane Technical Institute and graduated with a degree in commercial art. In Spokane they happily married almost 33 years ago and raised their three children. She enjoyed over 40 years in the service industry around Spokane and Spokane Valley.
She was preceded in death by Ericka Edith Coelho, Gregory Richard Coelho, Richard Coelho, Bob Davis-Coelho, and is survived by her husband Patrick Gilmartin, their three children: James Gilmartin, Bobbi Iszler (Gilmartin), and Denton “DJ” Gilmartin, her adopted son Zack Allen Bailey, her grandson Kenny Bailey, and the family and lifelong friends that she’s made along the way.
Annie will always be remembered by her huge heart, kindness, laughter, and the contagious fighting aura around her. People describe her as passionate, tenacious, generous, courageous, creative, and always laughing. Her family and friends will miss her every day and her memories will live on through us all.
