Ann Marie Ohler

December 08, 1921 - November 16, 2014

OHLER, Ann M. (age 92) Ann was born December 8, 1921, to Christie A. and John F. McKay, in Whitefish, Montana and passed away November 16, 2014, with her family by her side. She was the sixth child in a family of ten. Ann moved from Noxon, MT to Spokane, WA in 1932. In 1937, at the age of 16, she married Gene C. Ohler, whom she met through her brother, Tom. Ann and Gene farmed in Chewelah before moving to Spokane. They had 4 children; Bob, who preceded Ann in death, Jeannie, Laura, and Mary, all of Spokane. After Gene passed in 1963, Ann helped her brother Bob McKay on McKay Intermountain Shows, where she spent many years happily working for his carnival business. Ann met Stan Pritchett on the show and they became life-long partners, until his death in 1993. She loved her family, pets, gardening, and really cherished life. Ann is survived by her brother Gene McKay, Grandchildren Shelli, Crit, Shon, Keegan, Galen, John, Jeff, Jackie and Joanie, as well as several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial in her honor will be held on November 30, 2014, at 12:00 P.M. at CenterPlace Regional Event Center. Community Cremation & Funeral Spokane Valley 13127 E.
