Alvera Quaschnick

June 28, 1950 - January 18, 2023

Our mom, Alvera Quaschnick, entered into the Lord’s care August 5, 2019. She was born January 26, 1926 to Walter and Hilda Lorents in Bagley, MN. She moved to Spokane and married Edward Quaschnick after WWII. With the family together we traveled the world following our dad in his Air Force career. Her husband, Edward, preceded her in death in 2006, after 60 years of marriage. Alvera is survived by her four sons: John, Dan, Curtis, and Paul Quaschnick, as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She knew the names of each one. Our mom was the rock that truly held our family together for many years and though 93 years old she left us way too soon. She will be greatly missed, but there is a peace for us because we know she loved her Lord and we do not grieve like those who have no hope. She is at perfect peace and perfect rest in her Savior’s arms. A memorial service will be held at a future date.
