Al was born on April 23, 1933 in Spokane, WA to Walt and Pearl Bremer. He passed away on December 12, 2015. Al graduated from Rogers High School in 1951. He was later accepted into the Marine Corps, where he served honorably from 1959-1961, including the Korean Conflict. After his military service, he went to work for WW & P (Avista), where he eventually retired. He married Charlene Brockel in 1962, they had two sons. Al moved the family to Colbert in ’67 to build their home. He loved to hunt and fish and was always outdoors. He especially loved hunting those pheasants with his beloved Vizsla Hunting Dogs. Al is survived by his wife, Charlene at the home; and his sons, Walt and Art Bremer. A special thanks to the staff and volunteers of Hospice of Spokane, Hospice House North, for the loving care they gave Al. There will be a memorial service, with military honors, at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the Colbert Chapel, 4922 E. Bernhill Rd, Colbert, WA 99005. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Spokane Humane Society, Hospice of Spokane and/or the Colbert Chapel.
