In Loving Memory Adam James Port February 8, 1983 – November 18, 2025 Adam Port, of Spokane, Washington, passed away on November 18, 2025, at the age of 42. Adam was born on February 8, 1983, in Spokane to Ronald and Patricia Port. He grew up in the city he loved, graduating from Gonzaga Preparatory School and Spokane Falls Community College before beginning a career in the grocery industry. Adam had a gift for finding humor in life’s everyday moments. He could turn even the most ordinary day into something amusing with a quick joke or a clever observation. As a voracious reader, friends and family will remember him often with a book in his hand. His love of horror movies was legendary, and he delighted in introducing others to his favorites. Adam was also passionate about pool, spending countless evenings competing in tournaments and enjoying the camaraderie that came with the game. His creativity shone through in his writing, his love of card games, and his coin collection; hobbies reflecting his curiosity and appreciation for life’s details. Adam is survived by his parents, Ronald and Debbie Port; his siblings Heidi Port, Michael Port, Victoria Dozier, and Pete Roholt; his niece Aayana; nephews Malakai and Amarri Dozier; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia, and his brother, Timothy. Adam was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed. The family is deeply grateful to Aunt Sue and Rick Cook, as well as Adam's friend Jim, for their love and support during these difficult times.
A graveside service will be held at Fairmount Memorial Park in Spokane on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
