Born in Chewelah, WA, June 9, 1920, passed away March 8, 2014 in Spokane Valley. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW 1435, and telephone pioneers. She enjoyed baking, gardening, gambling, bingo and playing pinochle. She was a lady of beauty who loved and lived life to the fullest with family and friends. Virginia is survived by two sons, Warren (Penny) of Longview, WA, and Barron (Diane) of Las Vegas, NV; one daughter, Karen (Dick) Jackson of Spokane; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Dean; great-granddaughter, Valiree; and great-grandson, Stephen. A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 15, 2014, at 2:00 PM, at her daughterâ??s home in Spokane Valley.
