Virginia (Ginny) Ailes was born in Palmerton, Pennsylvania in September, 1932 to Warren and Henrietta Leisy. She passed away peacefully at home on August 29, 2022 in Spokane, Washington and is survived by her children and their spouses Karen Keene and husband Tom, William Ailes Jr., Mary Beth Ailes and husband Pradeep Barua, 4 grandchildren and 2 great -grandchildren. Ginny taught public school music early in her career and remained a life-long musician. In 1955 she married her beloved husband, William Ailes, and they enjoyed 62 years of marriage. She was passionate about volunteer work, and served the Presbyterian church and a variety of community organization in many different capacities. She was a wonderful example of service and leadership to her friends and family. A worship service and memorial reception will be held at Northwood Presbyterian Church, 6721 N. Monroe St., Spokane, WA at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 24, 2022. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Christ Kitchen in Spokane, WA.
