On July 16, 2021, Terry Benjamin Toby, a loving father and grandfather, passed away peacefully - at his home in Spokane, Washington at the age of 73. Born December 27, 1947 to Benjamin Kenneth Toby and Mildred Berniece Toby (née Andersen) - in Bowbells, North Dakota, Terry spent his childhood in Columbus, Montana before joining the - United States Army where he served as a Morse code operator during the Vietnam War. After - his time in the Army, he moved to Southern California where he got married and began his - career in real estate which spanned more than 45 years. After spending time in California and - Lake Tahoe he eventually settled in Spokane, where he co-parented his three beautiful children - with his ex-wife. In his spare time, Terry lived an active lifestyle; he was a runner, loved playing - basketball (and cheering on the Gonzaga Bulldogs) and was often working on DIY home - projects. Terry’s warm and generous personality mixed with his dry sense of humor made him such a joy - to be around. He never took life too seriously and you could always count on him to crack a joke - or two to make someone smile. Terry is survived by his sons Jamin and Elan, - daughter Ryel, and one grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents. - He will be terribly missed and will always live on in our hearts.
