Terry Lee Inman

September 22, 1946 - May 06, 2021

Terry Lee Inman (Age 74) passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021, at his home in Liberty Lake, WA. He was born in Missoula, MT on September 22, 1946, to Frank and Pauline Inman. Terry spent his early years in Missoula but moved with his family to Spokane in 1954. He graduated from Rogers High School in 1964. Terry worked as a mechanic for many years out of high school. In 1971 he joined the Spokane Fire Department, where he worked as a firefighter for over 31 years. He was proud to be a firefighter and always said that it never felt like “work”, as he loved his job and his fellow firefighters. He also was in charge of the fire security at Playfair racetrack. He retired in 2002 as Fire Lieutenant at Station 1 in downtown Spokane but continued to work for the Spokane Firefighter’s Credit Union as a loan officer until he completely retired in October of 2007. Terry’s love for fishing began as a young boy in Missoula and continued through most of his adult life. He traveled to the Washington Coast annually on fishing trips with friends, took his family on fishing trips all over Washington, Idaho, and Montana, and made several trips to Alaska fishing with his wife, Eunice. Terry and Eunice became snowbirds after his retirement from the Spokane Firefighters Credit Union, traveling each year between their homes in Buckeye, AZ, and Liberty Lake, WA. Terry loved to golf, play poker and spend time with his family. Terry is survived by his wife, Eunice, brother David Sr. (Shelia), sister Kellie (Tim), children Scott (Shawna), Bruce (Lisa), Denise (Darin), Tera (Tyler), his 17 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Frank and Pauline. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and fellow firefighters. He will be laid to rest on May 20th in a small family ceremony. There will be a celebration of life to come at the end of June. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Spokane Firefighter’s Benevolent Fund (#3852) at the Spokane Firefighters Credit Union.
