Obituary for Tamara Lee Kelley
Tamara L. Kelley, 39, of Spokane, WA, unexpectedly passed away Monday July 10th, 2023, in Spokane, WA.
Born in Wolsan, South Korea and adopted by Duane J. Kelley and Cheri R. Kelley, Tamara spent her early years in Maple Valley, WA before settling in Nine Mile Falls, WA with her family in 1992.
Tamara excelled in school, earning national honors. She was a competitive swimmer for many years. After graduating from Lakeside High School, Tamara started her career at the Shadle Walmart, where she would spend over 20 years as a beloved and valued Associate. She was a dedicated employee who was promoted to Overnight Team Lead. Tamara enjoyed working the night shift. Her sense of humor and love for animals was well known by coworkers and family. In recent years, Tamara fell in love with gardening, transforming her landscape to include dozens of flowers and plants to create a warm and colorful space.
Tamara was a proud mother to her only son, Aidan Jensen, and loyal partner to Curtis Jensen. She is survived by her mother, Cheri R. Kelley, father, Duane J. Kelley, and sister and brother-in-law Elizabeth and Matthew Gilroy. She is preceded in death by grandparents Richard and Rosemary Christensen and her aunt Carol Kupcho.
