Suzun Marie Leyde

April 27, 1970 - December 27, 2022

Suzun Marie Leyde Suzun M. Leyde, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on December 27th In Spokane Washington. Suzun was born on April 27th 1970, the youngest of 3 children to Herman and Patricia Elixman. She was predeceased in death by her brother Steve and sister Sharon. Graduated from Shadle Park HS class of 1988. Married for 28 years to Chris leyde on June 3rd 1989, later on divorced. Moved to Emskirchen Germany from 1989-1992 due to her husband at the time Chris who was in the army. After Germany Suzun and Chris came back home to Spokane wa to start a family making Suzun the Mother to Zackary, Nicole, Jacob and Kendall. She also Had 5 grandchildren with more on the way. Suzun had many roles she pursued throughout life. She worked for Carr sales in lighting department, ambassador for Dorian, was a stay at home Mom. She’d give all the kids rides to school. She was pursuing peer support as her most recent endeavor. Suzun was a free spirit, with a contagious personally. Always one to have a long heartfelt conversations. She was many things in life, a daughter, sister, mother, aunt and friend to many. She was talented, smart and was misunderstood by many, but she was one of a kind. She faced many challenges throughout life, you’d never know she did with how big her love was. Each person she encountered in life she treated them with kindness and respect. She loved wood burning and being creative in her free time making many wood signs and other corky unique gifts for her family and friends. Later on in life Suzun made an abundant amount of friends. She loved hanging out and spending time with her close friends. She loved being a grandmother and being around all her grandchildren. Nothing in life made her more proud than seeing her family and friends happy. Suzun was a kind soul and always helped others before herself. She was always willing to listen to anything you had to say and she was always so willing to help any way she could. This Amazing woman is already missed by so many but she will live forever in all our hearts, may her soul rest in peace.
