Shirley Maxine Seehorn

July 05, 1928 - September 29, 2015

Shirley M. Seehorn was born on July 5, 1928 in Spokane, WA. She went to be with her Heavenly Father on September 29, 2015 at the age of 87. She was married to Lloyd E. Seehorn for 67 years; they met at the water cooler at Lewis and Clark High School. She loved reading, writing family history, and writing short stories. Shirley was a member of Rockford Methodist Church, Rockford Women’s Club, SE Spokane County Fair, and many other community projects. Shirley is survived by her husband Lloyd E. Seehorn; her children, Stan (Lynn) Seehorn, Jody (Lanny) Turner, and Gail (Norm) Kopp; 8 grandsons: Lonny, Rob, Jason, Jon, Jeff, Russell, Travis, and Todd; 1 granddaughter, Katie; and 5 great grandkids: Lena, Elsie, Eli, Evan, and Sawyer. She was preceded in death by her mother Alice Twitchell; sister Ruth Graham; brother Jack Taylor; and daughter Donna (Roger) Harris. A memorial service will be held for Shirley on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 1pm at the United Methodist Church 3601 E. 65th Ave. Spokane, WA 99223.
