WELLS, Russell Dean (67) May 15, 1955-June 10, 2022 Russell Dean Wells, passed away at Sacred Heart Medical Center on June 10, 2022, after a critical car/pedestrian accident. Russell was born on May 15, 1955. He lived in Airway Heights from 1957 to 1973. He moved to Spokane until 2015. He married his wife, Bernie, in 1982. They remained married until her passing in 2010. Russell moved back to Airway Heights in 2015, to Vietzke Village. He was so beloved in the park and was referring to as the Mayor of the Village. He loved karaoke and bowling every Wednesday at North Bowl. He had the most infectious smile and was just such a kind and loving soul. Anyone who knew Russell loved Russell! He loved his family and friends, especially his dog, Morgan. He will be so missed each and every day. He is with Bernie now, the love of his life. Russell was preceded in death by his father, Bennie Wells; Brother, Raymond Wells; and his wife, Bernie Wells. He is survived by his mother, Ione Wells; brother, Danny Wells (Vicki); sister, Jean Vlk; sister, Tina Swanson (Pat), and thirteen nephews, eight nieces, and many grand-nieces & nephews.
