Robin L. Thompson

January 14, 1955 - September 06, 2021

Thompson, Robin L. (Welch), age 66, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on September 6, 2021 after a brave fight with pancreatic cancer. Robin was born on January 14, 1955 to William and Mildred Welch in Spokane, WA. She graduated from Shadle Park High School in 1973 and started working at Washington Trust Bank. - On January 18, 1975, she married her high school sweetheart Michael (Mike) Thompson and they began their married life in Tacoma, WA. Together they had two sons, Christopher Thompson and Matthew Thompson. In 1979, they moved back to Spokane and Robin continued her career in banking at Washington Trust Bank. She retired from the bank in 2020. - Robin enjoyed working in the yard and gardening, beading jewelry and going to country music concerts with her friends. Her biggest joy was her two grandchildren, Jaden and Shaela. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Michael Thompson, her two sons Christopher (Aimee) Thompson, Matthew Thompson, her two grandchildren, Jaden and Shaela Thompson. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Mildred Welch. - Graveside services will be held at Fairmount Memorial Park Cemetery on September 27, 2021 at 12:30 pm.
