Robert James Wilber

May 12, 1963 - December 10, 2014

Was born on Oct. 21, 1923 in Spokane and passed away on Dec. 13, 2014 at age 91. He was born at Deaconess Hospital to Daniel Forsch and Myrtle Clifford. Bob graduated from Lewis & Clark in 1941. He served in the Army during WWII as a clerk typist at Camp Shelbie, Mississippi. Bob retired from the post office. He spent many hours working on his model trains and his CB radio. He loved his poodle dogs. He enjoyed going to the Eagles to hear his friend Mingo sing. He is survived by his brother Daniel Forsch of San Antonio, Texas and his step-daughter Diane Strasburg of Spokane. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Gayle. There will be a memorial service on Jan. 31 at 2:00 PM at the Lidgerwood Presbyterian, corner of Nevada and Princeton. Officiated by Pastor Mark Wheeler. A huge thank you goes to the staff of Royal Park Care Center for their faithful care for the last 2 years. Thank You to Vern and Sharon Lightbody for their friendship.
