Obituary for Phyllis Lloyd Tonning
Phyllis Tonning, 91, passed away January 1, 2016 from complication of a stroke Christmas morning. She was born November 20, 1924 in Emmett, Idaho. Mom was the last of eleven brothers and sisters. In her high school year book she wrote that her desire was to travel. She traveled to China twice, Turkey, Yugoslavia, Greece, all of Europe, England and kissed the Blarney Stone. Phyllis was an amazing Mother and friend. Sher retired after 22 years as the Executive Secretary for nine of the Division Manager of Albertsons Grocery in the Spokane Division office. Mom lived independently right up to her stroke. She loved her flower garden and drove twice a week to practice clogging since 1989, with the Mary Ann Tripp cloggers at the Sinto Senior Center. Our Mom will be missed but not forgotten.

She leaves behind her son David (Darlene) Tonning, daughter Paula Kopczynski-Taylor (Carl), stepson Matt Paul Tonning (Jackie), and seven grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Please join us in celebrating her life on January 29, 2016, at the Sinto Senior Activity Center,
