Obituary for Peter Glatt
Our much-loved husband, father and grandpa passed away peacefully on July 17 in Spokane at the age of 93. He was preceded in death by his parents and 10 of his 12 siblings (5 brothers and 5 sisters). Pete is survived by his wife of 53 years, Georgine, their children; Paulette (Sam) Hazel, Peter Jr., Jeannine (Terry) and Joseph Glatt, all of Spokane. He is also survived by 3 grandsons; Sammy, Spencer and Nicholas, 2 brothers: Wallace of Florence KY, and Frank of Spokane, along with several nieces and nephews, who loved him dearly. Pete was born May 18, 1025 un Hague, ND to Joe and Mary Glatt, he was one of 13 children. He spent most of his adult life in Spokane making a successful career as a house painter. One of his many enjoyments was “The Sport of Kings”, horse racing. He enjoyed many years at Playfair and was always anxious to spend a day at the casino. A Memorial Service for Pete will be held on Saturday, July 28 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis Xavier Parish, 545 E. Providence, Spokane, WA 99207.
