Norma Jean Cunningham

August 16, 1961 - January 29, 2016

Norma Cunningham (age 54) was born on August 16, 1961 in Spokane, WA to Orville (Red) and Dorothy Cunningham. She went to be with our mom in Heaven on January 29, 2016 in Spokane Valley, WA. Norma lived her entire life in the Spokane Valley, attending Central Valley School. She also attended Spokane Community College and ITT. She would do anything for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Norma is survived by her father, Orville (Red) Cunningham; a daughter, Aubrey Shuman Benghazi Zellerhoff of Berea, Kentucky; her siblings Anna Gertsch, Connie (Tracy) Dougall both of Coeur d’Alene, ID, Michael (Melinda) Cunningham, Susan Mitchell, Jim Cunningham, Peggy (Tim) Cunningham VandeVanter, Mary (Mitch) Miller, Judy Cunningham, Sally (Bryon) Doering all of Spokane Valley, WA, and a special friend and companion Rick Ackerman. She also had numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Norma is preceded in death by her husband, John Shuman; her mother Dorothy Cunningham; grandparents, aunts and uncles. A Celebration of Life for Norma will be held at 10 am on Friday, January 5th at the Sunset Chapel at Fairmount Memorial Park 5200 W. Wellesely Ave. Spokane, WA 99205.
